Social Media Response Countless users and merchants have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a different size category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification. The company said the updated approach better aligns with other platforms. They have suggested members to review their products and update the measurements by hand when needed, which has left users frustrated. Measurement Approach Modifications Previously, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10. The revised method features a letter and a range like S/UK 8-10. With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18. Member Stories One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult". "Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does. A different member, located in Scotland, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as size 20–22. "Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she explained. Manual Updates Another shopper, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
